Past site layouts.Layout One
This was my first layout for Reverse. The worst thing about it was it could only be viewed in Internet Explorer. In Fire Fox, all that showed up was the background, the Google advertisement, and the quick updates section at the top. This was drawing users away from my site and that is never good. This layout only took about 2 hours to make including making the background image. The background was simply a solid color with shades of gray paint splatter. This layout was actually a quick fix because I wanted to open my site as soon as I got my domain.
Layout Two
This image took forever for me to find. I looked through hundreds of Deviantart pages looking for the perfect one. Finally I found one that would work. I was not very good at photoshop when I made this layout so the header was made with help from my friend Kayla from Fate of One. I was not that happy with how it turned out so I did not keep it up too long. My favorite part was the font I used for the name reverse at the top.
Layout Three
This was a fairly simple layout with a neat concept I think. I also thought it was original but it turns out that someone had one before me that was somewhat similar. There was someone who stole the idea from me too! But ooh well. I really like how one shade of green was the only color on the whole layout, it made the sidebar a focal point which it us usually not in my layouts. I had this one for a long time because I went through a period of no updating or “updation” as I called it in an update.
Layout FourI think the curves on this layout are what make it so neat. And the way the top advertisement becomes part of the sidebar then blends into the footer. It took a lot of changing around but I finally got this the way I wanted. I also tried something new: back, forward, and home buttons. They were a last minute addition when I needed to fill up space. I think those turned out well. The person on this layout is Scarlett Johansson.
